Writing Secure ASP.NET Applications

ASP.NET 2.0 has a lot of good services to build secure and robust web applications 'out of the box', but you still have to be aware of the threats. In this talk we look at some of the most common vulnerabilities in web applications and how ASP.NET helps you to mitigate them. Furthermore you'll get to know the most important built-in facilities in ASP.NET for doing proper input validation, authentication & authorization and error handling & logging. Every developer writing web applications should be aware of this information.

Prize Draw

jetbrains.com have kindly given a license for both ReSharper, which is a productivity add-in for Visual Studio .Net, and dotTrace, which is a profiler for .Net. Also Teamprise have given another copy of  "The Business of Software" by Eric Sink
