Stored Procedures Best Practices with Kevin Kilne, 3rd May 2007

This week NIMTUG are running a talk from Kevin Kline from Quest Software on Stored Procedures Best Practices.

Find out the tricks and techniques needed to make SQL Server stored procedures achieve top performance. Numerous tips will show you how to make your stored procedures run faster, with fewer errors, and with better reliability. This class assumes a basic understanding of Transact-SQL. The session covers both SQL Server 2000 and 2005.

I posted an entry on my blog about database naming standards.  Mr Kline made a good point about not using 'sp_' on stored procedure names.  I thought it would be cool to share idea on naming conventions in databases besides that.
